Dr. Anuraag Gandhi
Dr. Anuraag Gandhi underwent his MBBS training from Maharashtra Institute of Medical Education and Research (MIMER) Medical College, Talegaon (2007 – 2013).

He joined the prestigious Aravind Eye Care System in 2014. He completed his residency training in 2017 and was awarded the Diplomate of the National Board (DNB) in Ophthalmology by the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi. Thereafter, he was selected for a long-term fellowship in Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus Correction at Aravind Eye Hospital, Tirunelveli. He underwent fellowship training from January 2018 to July 2019. In August 2019 he was appointed as a Medical Officer in the Department of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus correction at the Aravind Eye Care System and he continued working there till August 2021. In his overall 7 years at Aravind Eye Care System, he was involved in the clinical and surgical training of residents, fellows and junior medical officers. He has acted as a faculty in the Department of Paediatric Ophthalmology. He was deeply involved in clinical research and has publications in the field of neuro-ophthalmology, strabismus surgery and on post-cataract surgery corneal complication management. He has helped restore vision to innumerable patients with multiple different eye related issues from all walks of life.

From September 2021, he was appointed as a Consultant at Centre for Sight, New Delhi, where he worked till December 2023 helping restore sight to many patients who were extremely satisfied with his clinical knowledge, understanding, surgical skills and post-operative outcomes.

In order to further his career as an Ophthalmologist wanting to provide eye care to patients from all walks of life he has in January 2024 started and is presently the Director and Chief Ophthalmic Surgeon at Anuraag Eye Care.
